In Depth Study Programme

Foundation Programme with Resident teacher Gen Kelsang Dema

Sundays 4 – 7pm (about 3 Sundays a month)

We have a wonderful opportunity to study the book “Meaningful to Behold” by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. This profoundly wise and compassionate book is a modern day commentary by Venerable Geshe-la to Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life, the universally loved poem composed by the great Buddhist master, Shantideva.
We will learn how to improve our lives by cultivating authentic love, compassion and wisdom through practical and effective contemplations and meditations.
We will be able to expand our practical understanding of Buddha’s teachings, improve our ability to meditate effectively, and experience profound personal transformation through this structured programme which includes focused study, meditation, and discussion in a like-minded, supportive community.

Foundation Programme is one of three unique study and meditation programmes of the New Kadampa Tradition that emphasizes integrating Buddha’s teachings into daily life to solve our problems and to spread lasting peace and happiness throughout the world.

Cost £30 per month which includes GP classes and half-day courses.  This is not a drop-in class, enrolment is required.

You are welcome to come and have a free taster of this class any Sunday. Please contact epc@uma.org.uk for more details.
