A new series of morning meditation classes at Morton Manor Community Centre – designed for those seeking happiness from a different source.

Buddha taught how to overcome our daily problems such as worry, anger, feeling unwell or tired and feeling upset when our wishes are not fulfilled and things are not going to plan.  He explained that we can use our life, instead, to love and to help others by developing wisdom so that we can always feel happy and help others to feel happy too.  Through the power of controlling our mind, we can still be peaceful and positive even in our worst moments.  The method to do this is by learning to meditate.

During this three week course our teacher, Gen Kelsang Dema, will explain simple meditations to calm and strengthen our mind and prepare some inner protection for times in our life that are challenging.

This class is suitable for everyone – those new to meditation as well as those with some experience
