In this four- week course we will look at how meditation can help us to become calm, realistic and positive in the unusual and challenging times that we are living through. Instead of allowing our mind to dwell on the negative side of things, we will see that it is possible to become familiar with seeing things in a more beneficial light. If our mind is peaceful, we can be positive, regardless of the external situation, and we can find new ways
of relating to difficulties. This course is based on the book: “How to Transform Your Life” by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso (free download) and “Meditations for a Clear Mind” (CD or download from www.tharpa.com ). The class consists of a short Buddhist prayer, a guided breathing meditation, talk and a concluding guided meditation. Everyone is welcome – from beginners to more experienced meditators.
