No one wants to reach the end of life feeling regret wishing they had lived differently. Yet most of us spend our days being busy at work, home, with family or just distracting ourselves with technology, not really noticing our life slipping by. Busyness often causes us to put off doing what we know is good for us, and thus we end up wasting much of our life and feeling exhausted and unfulfilled.
In this half day workshop, Gen Rabten will explain how Buddha’s teachings and meditations can help us to overcome the habits of busyness and distraction that prevent us from living a peaceful and meaningful life.

Gen Kelsang Rabten is an inspiring and deeply compassionate international teacher with many years of experience of putting Buddha’s teachings into practice himself. His happy and faithful manner make it easy to understand and practise the instructions which he teaches. We are delighted to welcome him to Carlisle to teach this half day course.

Suitable for beginners and those with experience.
